Sushi Tei

Yesterday I went to Sushi Tei Japanese Restaurant with Jasson, my 'kai kor' (god brother) in Tropicana Mall. It was my first time to Tropicana Mall anyway. It was suppose to be a movie outing but then my 'kai kor' wanted to take his dinner. So we planned to go to this Japanese restaurant as he has the membership card which give him 10% discount.

Jasson ordered his never change food, the salmon don, while I chooses the tuna don. Then he ordered fried salmon skin which we think relatively cheap as it cost RM6 for such a large portion. I ordered my favourite Shishamo and that's the whole dinner. The bill only cost us slightly above RM40, after the discount. Impressively, they don't have government service charges yet. So I think it's still a good place to try out. Below are some photos of Sushi Tei. Enjoy yourself.

Mantoux Test

I have been study about Mantoux test in university last time. It's been some time since I last read about it and now I finally have the chance to experience it. Actually I wasn't so ready to blog about it earlier on. But then I guess it's my blog, i just want to throw out my feeling here.

It's all started when I got that job offer and I went to the medical check up. The doctor of the panel clinic told me that she suspected that my lung got some kind of infection or worst tuberculosis (commonly known as TB). I was so shocked that time I don't know how to response to this. I still manage my emotion and went to Institut Respitori Negara (National Respitory Institute) in Jalan Pahang for specialist check up.

Last week, they asked me to produce the a sputum test (analysis of the plegm) and come back again on this week Tuesday (yesterday) for further testing. They took another 2 more sputum test before asked me to wait for the doctor. Waited for almost 2 hours then the doctor summoned me, just asking me a few question regarding my history whether I had been infected any lung disease before or not.

After all those waiting, just 2 minutes there with that doctor, he asked me to go for further testing to confirm whether it's not tuberculosis or not although my phlegm seems free from that mycobacteria. So I went for blood test, urine test, Mantoux test and produce them another sputum for testing. I got to go back this Friday for Mantoux test dianogsis and as well to produce them another last sputum for testing I guess. That doctor told me that I'll have another appointment with him on 14th August. I guess that is the day that I'll be inform about my testing result.

Asking me whether am I nervous about it? I don't know it either. I don't feel I'm sick no matter how but it's up to luck at times. I do pray for everything is fine and everything is good so that I can start working as soon as possible. I'm currently running out of cash. LOL.

My Lousy Cha Cha

We practised Tango and Rumba again today, with a little extra steps and some techniques. It was fun until my instructor wanted to practise Cha Cha, which I have not much idea how to dance it. I'm kinda bad in it I personally think. Guess I need more training and attend more class to get use to the steps.

Today, although Chee Yuen didn't turn up (I have no idea why he didn't but then he told me earlier already), I did go a little bit of workout. After my dance class, I meet with Charles and his friend, Brian at Fitness First. We continued with some workout and the hit the steam room.

After all the workout and steaming session, as usual, we surely look for a place to fill our tummy. We went to Bumbu Bali at first, but then ended up running out after looking at the price and our wallet. LOL.. Guess gotta wait till we got our pay before going there for real, Ended up we went to Star Village for lunch.

Now I'm pretty tired. Not to say very tired, but kinda lazy enough to drive out again for now. If only have someone wanna go out for dinner with me now, perhaps I'll think about. I just don't wanna drive out right now.

Tango & Rumba

Today as usual is my gym day with Chee Yuen and my ballroom dancing class. I'm starting to work on coming Wednesday, so I guess I might be going for gym at night on weekdays now. But Sunday still on and as well as my dancing class.

Today, I learn a new dance, TANGO. It's amazingly the most easiest steps of all dance I learned so far. The hardest part for this dance is the tempo and that expression. Tango is a dance that full of spirit, some how like attacking. The staccato tempo and that head shaking part are things that I need to practise. LOL. Nothing much, just learn some basic steps only.

The other dance is Rumba. It was just a revise of the first group that we have learned previously and addition of another new steps. It is a nice movement, but then I think my hand movements and the steps need to be practise a bit more. The hipping part is the hardest for me. At times, I fell that the hipping part make me look like a fool. Kinda like shaking the butt here and there while dancing. But if you can dance properly with the hipping, it is a wonderful thing. So I should be practising and be proud later on. LOL..

Bon Odori 2009

Today, I went to Bon Odori in Matsushita Stadium, Shah Alam. This year seems to be having a lot pf people. Maybe more and more people know about this event. It's so crowded. I took some pictures to share with all of you.

This year Bon Odori seems pretty okay for me. A lot of foods and drinks are avaible, lotsa 'leng chai's and 'leng lui's there too. LOL. However, none of my friend I know able to go for it. None that I know is going. Anyway, I should apologize to Afiq for not meeting you up there. I didn't notice your SMS earlier. LOL.

So this year, I ended up going with Noel only. We grabed something to eat, I brought some Yakult (as it's slightly cheaper than the market) and I brought some Beryl's Tiramisu chocolates. No money, so I dare not to buy so much of things. Did enjoy the first cultural dance performance and the first guest performance. We planned to leave early to prevent traffic jam. Anyway, it's almost the same every year. So I need not to stay till everything is over. Anyway, just 2 of us only. LOL.

At last, I got the job from AIA Shared Services as Business Process Associate, located currently at Jalan Ampang, near to St. John school. I was amazed that I am offer for this job as I just went for the second interview today at 2pm, and I got the call from them at 4pm telling me that I am taken. Maybe they in need of man power.

I will be going to the company on Monday next week for body check up and getting the conformation letter. On Wednesday, I will be officially starting to work already. Poi Ying also taken this job. She hesitated for it at first but at last, she take it as well. So guess she will be my colleague for now. Vivian also entering this company soon. I think different department perhaps.

The pay is so so la.. Slightly below RM2ooo.. I can't get it higher anymore. However, the benefits provided seems pretty okay with me. Guess I can justify it on next week Monday. Till now, hope I will be smoothly working there for the moment.

Dancing Class & First Shopping Trip of This Month

Today I'm pretty tired. As usual, I went to Fitness First in the morning for gym with Chee Yuen, then followed by my ballroom dancing class. We train more on our biceps and triceps today and some shoulder as well.

As for ballroom dancing, today kinda practise my Quickstep, Jive, Rumba and little bit of Samba. Oh my God, so much in a day but I have fun. After attending this ballroom dancing class for almost one month plus, I'm kinda not too bad in learning it especially Quickstep. So now can dance a bit already. An auntie (forget her name already) kinda partner with me recently for almost 3 classes already. I guess she will be my learning partner most of the time now. It's ok I guess, anyway it's all about learning dancing and not to have a gorgeous dancing partner, right? LOL.

After the class, I went to Times Square, Sungai Wang and Pavillion with Charles. I was suppose to accompany him to walk around because he wanted to buy a facial mask from the shop called "Beauty Credit" in Sungai Wang. Ended up, I brought it with him along. I got the fresh kiwi mask from Beauty Credit. Since my toner is running out, I ended up getting a toner called "Fresh Juiece Toner" from Skin Food. I got some samples to try from both skin care shops. So now I'm broke. (T.T)

I think I'll only get the things that I want from the Beauty Credit and The Body Shop next time. Probably after I get my wages when I get a job. LOL. I wanna go shopping again. It's Mega Sales but it still burn a BIG hole on my wallet.

First Interview of This Month

Today went to Monroe Consulting Group in Plaza Sentral, Brickfields for interview. The interview is a first screening by the consulting agent before submitting my CV to the company of interest, which is AIA Shared Company Sdn Bhd if I'm not mistaken. I think it's a nice try although I didn't thought of enrolling to such company to work as underwriter or so.

Well, I guess I'll still need to find some other job and get interview and hopefully found a job which is much suitable for myself. Maybe I'll try some tuition centre around my area or further if I still can't find much.

After that interview, Poi Ying and me went to IOI Mall, Puchong to have lunch and she wanted to get some clothes. She managed to get a dress I think and I get nothing. Maybe I don't have much cash, so I don't dare to be shopaholic at the moment. LOL. I really need a job and earn some money. I wanna have my shopping spree soon. Muahaha..

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinasour

Plot:
After the events of Ice Age: The Meltdown, life begins to change for Manny (Ray Romano) and his friends. Scrat (Chris Wedge) is still on the hunt to hold onto his beloved acorn, while finding a possible romance in a female sabre-toothed squirrel named Scratte. Manny and his new mate Ellie (Queen Latifah) are expecting a baby, which leaves Manny anxious to ensure that everything is perfect for when his baby arrives. Diego (Denis Leary) is fed up with being treated like a house-cat and ponders the notion that he is becoming too laid-back. Sid (John Leguizamo) begins to wish for a family of his own, and so steals some dinasour eggs which leads to Sid ending up in an underground world where dinasours roam free, and where his herd must rescue him, while dodging dinasours and facing danger left and right, and meeting up with a weasel known as Buck (Simon Pegg) who hunts dinosaurs intently.

*************************************************
I went to Sunway Pyramid today with Boon Hein and his girlfriend, Lay Yen to sing karaoke (Redbox) actually. I wasn't plan for catching up a movie until Boon Hein asked me to watch with them. Since I haven't watch Ice Age 3, so I just sticked with them for it. It wasn't a bad movie but I wouldn't say it is one of the best one.

Overall rating: 7/10
Plot: 7/10
Acting: *Not Applicable*
