Genetics Lab Test + Hard Times Ahead~

Today, i have genetics lab test... at first, i thought it wouldn't be that difficult... coz what in my mind was just the test is gonna test us from experiment 1 to 6... so mainly is the chi square analysis and mitosis & meiosis stuff... but then i was kinda shocked when i saw the pass year question of the lab test... it was so difficult... i felt it like a tutorial questions or it can already use it as final exam...

so i felt that i wasn't really prepared myself... however, i still need to take the test anyway... but the test today is relatively easy... but i didn't manage to score well in the 1st part... question 1 ask about genetics mechanism which i didn't really touch it... so i was kinda blurred how to answer it...

i tell myself not to be sad over it... i don't think that i did really badly... might not get high marks but still can survive... so what is more important now is i gotta prepare myself for the genetics test 2 on this saturday morning... gotta gambatte... hope i really do it... tonite, i gotta finish up my molecular biology report... gonna hand up tomorrow... haiz...

it will be tough time that i have to go thru this month and upcoming month... the remaining days of this month, i will have genetics lab test 2 on this saturday, 29th march... vivian's birthday is around the corner of this month... what they planned is to have steamboat near campus...

APRIL... my favorite month of the year... coz my birthday falls on this month... however, this year might not turn out that nice for me... well, i dun think there will be any celebration for it... it falls on my study leave week... so i guess most of them are either back hometown or stay at home burning mid nite oil to cover everything from A to Z for all subjects... furthermore, there are a full schedule for me to follow...

2nd April ~ Weng Foong's birthday - i'm just busy body...

7th April ~ Moses' birthday + Genetics tutorial + Proteomics Assignment Due Date...

Hope everyone will be doin fine this sem la... me too gotta gambatte liao la... i wanna score better result liao... must pull up my CGPA... so i gotta get high GPA this time... hopefully i can... cheer for myself... lol...

Yesterday, i went to 1U to watch this movie... well, i think it's pretty funny... i laughed a lot there in the cinema... kinda make myself like a clown there already... this movie is worth watching... although it is a low cost production as compare to most of the movie lately (i guess) but then it's still nice... enjoy laughing that day...

It's a movie that u are able to watch both malaysian and singaporean actors and actresses at the same time... that Jack Lim (My FM DJ) is kinda stupid looking at that movie... lol... i didn't ever watch a movie with a gang leader as fat as him... lol... no offence...

The lead singaporean actor, he acted very funny... his character in that movie is a sissy... he acted pretty good as well... haha... the way he present it is realyl funny... i remember his phrase for 1 of the scene... whenever someone calls him 'aqua' or 'sissy', he will say that... "ask your mother lay down there, and u see... tomorrow u call me father liao..."

there are a lot of stupid scene and moment to laugh about... so if u haven't watch it, try to find someone to accompany u to watch it... hehe... well, i;m not promoting it but then just to share with u all...

~Pasta Zanmai + Utar 19th Intervarsity Biochemistry Seminar**

Yesterday, I have enjoyed my lunch with Mel, Ursula & Jun Hou... we went to Pasta Zanmai in 1U to try out the delicacies... i bet u won't regret it... or maybe those who loves Japanese food should give a try... well, i love it there... to be honest, i'm still missing the sesame smell from my pasta... lol... we took quite a bit of photos of it...

It was really fun having lunch there i think... although i know the price is not cheap... kinda killing sometimes but then it's worth it... everything for me is fine in that restaurant... lol... i love the salad... the dressing they use is very unique... i might gonna get 1 of it next time i go to 1U in shojikiya... i recommend u guys to get 1 too... try it... lol... Ursula and Mel also wanna get it i think...

We took 3 different pasta but then all in the same sauce, sesame... but i don't regret it... well, i love it till i can't stop thinking of it... if i can, i wanna go there again to eat... lol... They provide us sesame to be add into our pasta... well, i can't forget the smell... i love it... haha... ursula and me took salmon pasta, mel took ebi tempura (shrimp tempura) and jun hou took chicken pasta...



Thanks to mel, there is a picture of jun hou and me... lol... taken this before we started our meal... I really enjoy that moment... haha... i mean the meal time... lol... so the pasta set is really tempting... in the set, there are pasta, salad and miso soup... of coz, for me, the salad and the pasta are the selling point... lol... so, u guys must try out... hope u all enjoy it too... spent on urself is still worth it...****************************************************************************
The Utar 19th intervarsity biochemistry seminar... i was the helper of the day there with zhao ying, mee ken, tansra and voon yuke... what is my impression for this seminar is kinda boring... well, i don't really have the opportunity to be there for the entire seminar was on (well, i don't hope that i was there for almost 7 hours there...) coz we gotta help up to distribute the food and mineral water to the rest of the students...

it's a charity job as what we think (voon yuke, tansra & me)... doing things that we aren't paid for it... lol... i got up at 6.30am juz for it... reached Utar PJ campus at 7.30a... been working most the time... well, gotta listen to some oral presenters from various university such as UKM, UPM, UM, UCSI, and UTAR... there were some of them, their presentation were really stupid... the way the answer and present it was so lame... i'm not going to mention it here...

well, after lunch, a few of us make our own conference somewhere around the campus... we gossips around... then, voon yuke, tansra, jun hou & me went to Coffee Beans for a drink... i took belgian chocolate this time... haha... it is so sweet... lol... i love CHOCOLATE!!!! tansra was a bit nuts that time... she added the chocolate powder like never tasted it before till the drink is concentrated with it... lol... well, it is very enjoying to be with them, hanging around chit chatting everything we can... we laughed our heart out gossiping the lecturers that teaches us...

It is a fun day after all... hope that we can enjoy of uni life for this one more year... and if possible, hope that we can even contact each other and come out sometimes for gathering and have back all these nice experiences... All the best for all of u...

10,000 BC & The Spiderwick Chronicles

I have watched this both movie lately... I found out that both also not too bad... but then of course, somehow i feel that this both movie wasn't too good yet... lets talk about 10,000 BC first...

This movie, the first part was kinda boring... just talk about the mountain tribe of the lead actor... i tot it is a very funny movie as what my friends are talking about but then i don't find it as funny as they describe it... although there is still some point i think is kinda lame and funny...

Only the very end of the story, the movie comes to the climax... so i think it doesn't have much effects on me... doesn't impress me a lot in this movie... then climax is like so short... so fast the battle between the GOD and the lead actor is over... just a spear throw, the so called GOD is dead... then finish him already... like so simple...

This movie, i think it's more for kids to watch... but then maybe i like to watch kids movie... lol... i watched it also... however, that day when i watched it, majority were adults... maybe they are like me too...

This movie touches a lot of those magical creatures... well, there are a few that i don't come across with before... but those like goblins, boggart, griffin and ogre are kinda common that we heard of... like the griffin, it looks exactly like the griffin in harry potter as well... btu then the goblins look different... overall, this movie is acceptable i think... The story plot is not bad... but then the ogre die so easily also... kinda funny at the end...

Immunology Lab Test

Yesterday we have immunology lab test... It was a dry lab test... from what we gotta know it that there will be 5 mcq questions and some fill in the blank only... then they say gotta pay attention to the calculation of haemocytometer... That is what our lecture - Dr Soon told us... however, what turns out is kinda not as what she told us earlier...

I'm started to think, there is almost everyone in our course do not like her... her reputation is kinda like Dr Chai (our endocrinology lecturer)... She always mentions that she wants us to be world class student that able to cope and compete with other student from other university... what i think is that she herself also does not show a good example... she herself also not a world class lecturer... she even don't know how to operate the computer i guess... always have problem with it and blame the computer itself... *swt*

That day i also kinda dislike her... she told us that we will be having the lab test at the lab... i was like so blurred... how can all of us fit into a small lab? do we need to stand and do the lab test? lol... then what she told us firstly was asked us, group 1 student to walk around first... come back an hour later for the test... i was like what the f***... she is so lame... she is just so unorganised... well, i think i'll be evaluating her badly... lol... i guess most of my course mate will do the same as well... i guarantee almost 90%... lol...

The story of Brian and Teresa continues...

Lately, Brian having financial crisis... Although he is working right now, but then he can't cover his expenses. He have ordered a new car recently. All this while, he is using his relative old car. His family member encourage him to get a new car but then then unable to come out the hard cash. Assuming he have the cash since he has work for quite some time, they at last ordered a new car for him. However, he don't dare to tell the truth to his family that he did not manage to save any money during his working period. So now, eh don't have any cash to pay the down payment.

Because of overspending, he did borrowed some cash from Teresa. It's kinda big amount. The cash that she lent it to him is her study loan. He told her that he will be paying back the money soon as he manage his finance. But lately, he still unable to settle his problem. The car is about to come out and he got to get the cash to pay the down payment. At last, he tries to borrow money from those money lender.

One day, he went to meet this money lender. He didn't borrow the money as the man told him that, he must borrow a small amount of money and gotta pay back in 3 months before he can lent out that big sum of money. Well, he thought that he need a few thousands dollar, but then got to borrow a few hundred first. That does not sound very convincing. Worrying that the man is a con man, he didn't go for him.

However, the next day, there is another man called him up. That man is a money lender too. He offered him a better loan requirement than the previous man. What he needed to do is just to pay them a few hundred dollar for processing fee and then the loan will be out in no time. Might be in a day or two. He accepted the offer. Only knowing that he will be borrowing money from those money lender, Teresa knows nothing much. She did reminded him to be careful of those man as they can be a con man when she lent a few hundred to Brian as the processing fees needed.

That day, he went to meet up that man and that man told him in order to get the loan, he need to mortgage his belonging. At first, that man took his handset and a gold ring of his and promised that the loan should be alright and will be out by evening that day is the loan is approved. However, later in the noon, that man said that you have to get some thing more valuable to mortgage to them before getting the loan. So feeling like been con, he didn't want to borrow from them. He asked back the items and the money back. But that man refused.

This causes some argument between Brian and Teresa. She is sad that he don't listen to her at first and now, he even loses the money that he borrowed from her. Worrying that she might fall into another financial crisis, she becomes very moody and hot tempered. There were a few times that they argue over the issue.

Well, I'm just planning to create some story to entertain myself and my readers... lol... I'm making story from whatever I have been through or adopted it from my friends and anyone around me... I'm thinking it will be something nice... I'm naming it as '1 gallon of tears' cause I'm creating a love story I guess... I have lots of friends that share their love story with me before... but then I'll not be putting their names here... Well, the story will be having 2 main characters of course... I'm naming them as Brian & Teresa... I'm simply naming it only... well, lets start...

Part 1:

Brief description (some background of the story):
Brian and Teresa have been couple more than a year. They met through Internet by some sort of website, similar to Friendster. Then met up, and slowly they develop their affection towards each other... So, Brian at last asked Teresa to be his gf. However, their love story is not that perfect as we see here. The is always argument and misunderstanding that happens... However, they love each other so much till they do not break up although have been a couples of times they voice it out... Their problems are so much but then them themselves unable to solve it too... (In this story, we will touches 1 episode by 1 of it. Lets the story begin)

The alarm rang... Teresa woke up and look at her phone... She turned the alarm off and get up for brush up. Daily routine for her, bath, brush she teeth and get change. After packing her bag and getting ready for school, her bf, Brian called her. "Babe, you going to school now? You haven't give me a morning kiss yet.", cried Brian. She then turns her head at him and walked towards him and gave him a little peek at his forehead. "I'm getting late my dear. I gotta get going now. Or else I'll be getting to late for my lecture."

"Ok, drive safely. Sms me when you reached, ok?", Brian told Teresa. She get to her car and set of to her college. After reaching her college, she attended her lecture as usually. There will be a date with her bf later in the noon. They planned to catch a movie and dinner together since he have been busy lately and have not much time for her.

After her lecture, her friends asked her, "Teresa, are you free? Wanna join us for lunch?". She declined her friends and told them she have a date with somebody else already. She drove home. Then both of them are getting to a mall as they planned.

On the journey towards the mall, Brian told her that he is having a financial crisis now. He need to get some hard cash for the car deposit that he have already ordered. Teresa was so worried for him and started to plan his money for him. After awhile, they come to a little argument. Brian was frustrated by Teresa that keep on talking about the money which she is planning that time. Teresa is a person that always plan ahead for her finance. so they ended up unhappy all the way to the mall and getting the movie tickets.

After brought the tickets, then they kinda cold down a little. So they talk back. Then then catch the movie together. But their love is like have been curse. After the movie, they walked around before going for dinner.

Teresa accidentally bumped into her friend. So she surprise to see her friend there too for dinner as the same place as they do. Teresa approached her friend without telling her bf which is beside her. She talked to her friend and saw that her friend which with her own bf too dumping her bf to talk to her. After a word or two, Teresa notices that Brian wasn't there with her. She freaked out. She tried to find her bf and she found him hiding from a pillar. She thought that her bf is trying to scares her. However he is not.

"Finish talking? Don't even bother me rite? Just go and talk to your friend without telling me that you are going. Do you think of me?", yelled her bf. She was so upset about it. Her bf is not trying to be considered. She kept silent and say nothing. So they just when into the restaurant and get some food. Then they still talk back. She thought that will alright already. They spent the time eating happily.

After eating, Teresa took some pictures of her food so that she can blog it on her blog. It is a habit for her to blog although her bf does not like it. Their mindset are kind of different. Brian saw it and started to show faces to Teresa. Then they spent the rest of the time unhappy back home. Teresa was so sad and she dares not to voice it out. There are just too many problems that occurs between them. A simple thing, blogging will already create a problem for her. Her bf said, "Why you need to blog? Do you need to tell everyone in this world about you? Why don't you spent that time for me? I didn't see that you tell me everything about you. But you are like so obligated towards blogging. Am I not as important to you compare to blogging? Do you know that I hate to see you blogging so your friends can keep on updating you?".

Teresa is speechless towards her bf's attacks. All she could do is keep silent to herself. All this unhappy moment that happened to her, she could only gulp it and let it inside of her. She have tried to voice out break up, however she couldn't let go of him as well. She loves him so much, but then the pain is killing her. She is so depressed. Knowing nothing that she could do, she just give in.

Shogun~

Well, I'm about to write about things that happened on previous Saturday (15th March 2008) in 1U... That day was kinda blur for me i think... woke up early in the morning for genetics lecture... thank God that molecular biology lecture was cancelled.. So i just need to attend for the genetics lecture only...

After the lecture, i think it was around 11am only... too bad... Voon Yuke they all asked me wanna join them for steamboat or not, but I've promised my cousin for a movie and dinner... so i gotta turn them down... lol...

We went to 1U and manage to catch a movie... We watched 'The Spiderwick Chronicles'... I think that movie is kinda nice... maybe I'm kinda small kid... Watching those movie... lol... But then i saw there were kinda lots of people there too... I mean adult... lol...

After the movie, we walked around... Around 6pm, we went to Shogun... Haha.. My cousin treat me... Well, it's a Japanese buffet mar... I ate like I never eat before lor... Guess what surprise me? I saw my course mate, Pek Yen was there with her bf... lol... She sat the table in front of me only... What a coincident...

Well, after that, we went to Shokigiya (if I'm not mistaken the name) to get some snacks... Then set back for home... I'm kinda tired that day... I drove whole day long... Saying bout food, Melissa, Ursula and me, we planned to eat at 1U, Pasta Zanmai there... haha... Wanna try out so long already... But then just cant find a suitable time mostly... Maybe this Thursday, we will be going to try it out... Since that day is a public holiday... lol... I'll be counting for that day...

Molecular Biology Test...

Today is kinda tiring for me... 14th May 2008... wake up early this morning around 6am... it's kinda surprising today when i reached my university... i always park outside of my university compound because i didn't manage to get a parking sticker for it... the area that i always park my car usually kinda pack if after 7.20am... but then when i got there, just 2 car there only... lol...

I have molecular biology practical today as well as the test for it... gotta study 4 topics: nucleic acid structures, functions & properties; chromosomes, chromatin & nucleosome: structures & functions; DNA synthesis; DNA mutation... the practical was boring... and the test cause my brain to crack... stuff everything that i can into my small small brain... lol...

I've spent about 5 hours in the library to revise everything that i think is important... discuss with Weng Foong (my course mate) mostly... but then we were like so blur that time... haha... i think that time i look like shit... after all the hard work and time spent for it, i think it is not a waste... at least i think i manage to answer all the questions (not sure I'm answering the right answer or not)... this time the test was kinda easy i think... what I'm worrying now is my final exam... there will be more topics to cover...

well, the tiring part isn't end here... got back home around 6pm... then gotta sent my brother to chow kit... don't think negatively... i sent him there upon his request because he joined the RELA team... he have some kind of meeting there i guess... get back home again but then it's around 8pm++... taken my dinner and bath also already 9pm++... now i am super tired... mentally and physically too... tomorrow gotta get to my university for genetics lecture... luckily the molecular biology replacement lecture have been cancelled today...

I don't care... tomorrow i gotta go and catch a movie... i have missed a lot of it... now, i gotta catch 10000 B.C. and the spiderwick chronicles...

The 12th General Election...

well, i think most of u all have already know the result of the election... 5 states have fallen to the opposition parties... maybe this is a brand new start for our nation...
not to mention my area here, seputeh... DAP wins against MCA by 36492 majority votes.
