Recently, I kinda lack of time to blog on time... LOL... Always blog like a day later or two... Dear readers, I apologize for the delay... Last night after finishing the post of Gary's concert, I'm kinda tired and planned to sleep liao... Thought of blogging it today after school... Who knows I'm not feeling too well today... Haiz...

Lets talk about the soft skill I took yesterday, 29th of June 2008... Early in the morning, I've to get myself to Asia Jaya LRT station to pick up the girls - Yin Sian, Lit Teng, Poi Ying, Wie Kee & Vivian... To get to Asia Jaya, actually I've already do some research how to get there earlier liao... I don't really know how to get there till Chun Hing teached me a little bit... Thanks buddy... Then drove all the way back to UTAR, PJ campus for the workshop...

The whole program was not bad... I think all of us have our good time there... Although to be compare with the previous workshop that I've attend, which is the "Effective Leader", this workshop lack of moving about but then we do still play games and move about a little... We were singing & moving around ( so call dancing as the trainer said)... We were the noisiest workshop at that day...

The trainer is very hilarious... I've learned quite a bit at this workshop... He teaches you to change your perception of thinking... Don't finger pointing here and there, just find the solutions and get it right... Even if it is not right, at least you satisfied with your decision or solutions... How to take charge of you decision and yourself and not waiting till the moon fall down from the sky... lastly, not to forget his theory on how to get along with people and to be approachable...

Gary Chaw ~ Welcome to My World Asia Live Tour 2008

Yesterday, 28th of June 2008 was Gary Chaw's Asia Live Tour Concert held in Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil... It was a wonderful and excellent concert... It's one of the great concert I have seen... I feel this concert is really worth seeing it... Although I brought a not so expensive ticket for this concert, however even I pay more for it, I think I will still say it worth it... I really amazed by the setup of the stage, live bands, dancers & the guest that present in the concert... I went with Boon Hein, Lay Yen, Boon Hein's sisters, my sister & cousin... Well, my aunt did went to the concert too but then they sit other place since they only pay RM88 for the concert...

Justin Lo (側田) from Hong Kong, and Genie Zhou Wen Xuan (卓文萱) from Taiwan that sang a love song with Gary, which I love quite a lot too... Overall for the concert, I'll give 90% for it... Gary's performance I'll give 80% because there were song part he didn't really sing... Well, he just wanna make his fans to sing I think... I don't blame him... Anyway, most of his song also kinda high pitch...

His guest, Justin's performance I don't think I need to say anything... If those of you are Canton's pop lover, should able to say it's brilliant to have him as a guest... That guy first appearance already make the croud screaming already... Well, that fella fames is undeniable... He sang 2 songs (if I'm not mistaken) with Gary and a song himself, which was "男人KTV" (Nam Yan KTV)... His off stage was a play I guess... He said he is going to sing the next song, and then suddenly 2 dancers drag him away from the stage... LOL... Well, that 2 guys are kinda nice buddy as we can see...

Genie Zhou's performance in other hand wasn't that great I think... The love song she sang with Gary was great... It was "梁山伯与茱丽叶" (Liang Shan Bo Yu Zhu Li Ye)... Very romantic song... But then she solo song was not too good... She was like screaming than singing... Maybe she is too high that time and she didn't notice it when she sang "幸幅氧氣" (Xing Fu Yang Qi)... It is a great song actually... Just not too good in her performance but still good...

There is quite a lot of nice performance throughout the concert... The settings of the stage is great but then I think it will be excellent if the rock zone was not only 1 square but like other shapes or even divide into 2 parts... Well, that wasn't my consent because I sat quite far from the stage... The dancers are not bad and the band is great too... Not to forget the star of the day, Gary... The were parts of the concert I love most or enjoy the most... The part where he plays the piano and sing (he was hilarious in that moment), when he sings the oldies - where he sang "My Way" etc... When he sang "My Way", he actually singing both the female and the male part all himself, where higher pitch for female part and vice versa...

Too bad this concert I have to pay for it... If like previous time, I got free ticket for the concert then great.... I got VVIP ticket last time for SHE concert... It was so close up and not like this concert... The pic I took is so small liao... Look how close up I was when I'm at SHE concert...

Effective Leader Soft Skill

It's been awhile again since my last blog... Well, on Sunday that day, 22nd of June, I did attend a workshop or soft skill... It's called the "Effective Leader"... It's kinda fun and I did learned something there... I meet some new friends but then I only realize later that I didn't get their numbers... LOL...

During the workshop, we were divided into a few groups... There were some nice activities during the session and the one that I remember the most is the "Do Not, See Not & Talk Not" game... Not to forget there is one called the "Prisoner Dilemma"... So I was in grouped to the 'See Not' group... We were required to mould some objects from the plasticine that they provided... My group were to make a truck out off it... At the end, the outcome was kinda embarrassing... The whole workshop was from 9am to 5pm...

During the break, I did managed to bumped to Aki, Melissa and Thaminy for awhile because they took the English writing soft skill... This upcoming Sunday, I will have to attend the "Take Charge" soft skill with Yin Sian, Lit Teng, Poi Ying, Vivian etc...

Since this is my final year already... I've planned to attend some of the soft skill, hopefully I can really learn something out of it... I'm planning to take the Financial Planning & K-worker soft skill... What I heard is that those program will provide us with certificate from the Government... Hope we can benefit from it...

Eric's 22nd Belated Birthday High Tea

Yesterday, my gang and I went to Little Tree Cafe to celebrate Eric's 22nd belated birthday... So I drove Yin Sian, Lit Teng and Poi Ying to get a cake from Paradise... It's a chocolate cake named 'Chocolate Lady'...

Then, reached the cafe there, one of the waiter help me with the cake... I guess Eric didn't notice we brought him the cake... So I ordered a drink - Lemon soda... So coincidently the same drink with Jeff... We did spend quality time there... All 9 of us crapping there... Seng Hong was the only one that accompany Eric at first till I came with the girls... After us, Wie Kee, Vivian and Jeff only arrive...

Actually, nothing much I can say about his celebration today since it's just a simple once... But then I seriously hope that he enjoyed what we have done today for him... As for the presents, we got him 2 stuff... One is the white jacket from IP Zone and the other one is a Converse sling bag... I'll be posting some of the photos that we taken during that time...
